Saturday 9th September to Sunday 17th September 2023
You are invited to ‘Meadow’; an installation celebrating the beauty of our fields and verges, drawing attention to the importance of conserving and reinstating these spaces for our wildlife, biodiversity, habitats and communities.
Meadow is an installation by flower artist Jan Boddington of Blue Shed Flowers in collaboration with Wivey Grows community growing project and Liz Robertson of Walking with Blooms.
Inspired by the interior of the old Town Hall, the landscape glimpsed through the magnificent Georgian windows, and the warm and generous community of Wiveliscombe, this installation celebrates and brings together all 3 of these elements.
Bringing nature into unexpected places surprises and delights and invites us to see nature in different ways. It’s also a reminder to get out there, grow things and protect and reinstate our natural spaces ….
Visitors are welcomed through a flower filled stairwell and invited to open the door to the magic within the domed room.
Donations welcome and all proceeds shared between Town Hall Trust and Wivey Grows
Meadow is part of the Ten Parishes Festival 10parishesfestival.org.uk
